I want Leigh, primarily cus they beat us twice this year so no qualms seeing them go on to win it. No doubt they'll poop the bed tonight and it'll all be 'one game too many' in their streak but we'll see.

Wigan again would be a travesty. Perhaps Hull Kr or Leigh winning will open the floodgates up finally. So yeah, Hull KR for me. We were done over by the ref, not them.

I don't hate any Wigan players as much as I hate Mikey Lewis though. Indeed if Leigh do manage to win tonight, then as much as he's an attention seeking helmet, even Derek Beaumont is more likeable than Mikey Lewis.

I heard some of Wires fan base was pathetic but there's some folk here outdoing themselves. imagine hating a young lad who's got more talent in their left foot than they'd ever produce in their lives!
Didn't Eamonn Mcmanus bang on about a Knowles try in the CC final against you lot once cant remember the incident in full?! But Bet there was silence on here.

I don't think anyone on here is denying that Lewis has talent and some might even accepting of his antics on that basis and that the game needs characters but there's no denying that he's a prize WUM and as such should expect the reaction that he obviously craves.

And BTW you don't have to be an ex international rugby player to post on a forum and make what you might consider to be a valid point or opinion which probably applies in your case apart from the validity

They've caused the 3rd tier to be opened for the first time in years apparently so doesn't seem like they're doing too badly

The only reason they look up to you is because they chose to kneel.

You would have thought Erasure would come cheaper than the tribute act about now.

I want Wigan to utterly destroy Hull KR. I'm not usually a vindictive man, but in this instance, I want Hull KR to lose so heavily that Lewis weeps on the pitch, sobs inconsolably all the way home, and then develops alcohol and urinary incontinence problems in the off-season.

Interesting views on here.

I’ve a lot of mates who are Wire fans and they were telling me how they are struggling to have the same dislike for Wigan as they used to.

Likeable local coach, generally likeable playing squad and play a very entertaining brand of rugby.

Think things would be different if Lewis or Welsby played for Wigan or even if Sam Tomkins still played for us.

Likewise vice versa the growth in Wire as a club is great to see. Given young local juniors a chance rather than just buying players all the time (that will reap rewards ina. Few years).

The clubs seem to have a good relationship to, Wigan inviting Wire to vegas, SJM organising Ashcroft and NGallager to play Robin Park etc.

I understand we are the lesser of 2 evils on Saturday and we’ll go back to hating each other next year haha
