This would be the pledge made by de Pfeffel which Labour hope to honour. This is the same de Pfeffel who made up the story of Jimmy Saville which was discredited as false but I suppose there are some on the fringes of society who believed it.
The majority of deaths in winter is more to do with the lack of insulation in the housing stock, I think we can remember which Government it was who cancelled the scheme.

It isn't false though is it ? Starmer was head of the CPS when they refused to bring charges. As Starmer said about Johnson "you're in charge so the buck stops with you".

I can’t believe there are two of you, who would of thought, I heard he also also failed to prosecute a driver with his second speeding offence. I think you are beginning to clutch at straws but I suppose you have proof of his failure. We could discuss de Pfeffel a well known teller of truth, who even lied to the Queen and Parliament for two.

So anyway. Your thoughts on killing 4000 uk pensioners to save £1b (not my words, the words of the Labour Party) despite sending 11.6b to South Africa to held with net zero.

Try to answer without any whataboutery

I have explained both the biggest winter killer (poor insulation) and also the fact that the 11.6b pledge was made by de Pfeffel. The Labour government would like to honour this pledge but they admit it will be difficult.
I hope you can tell me the lottery numbers because you appear certain 4000 pensioners will die because they no longer have access to the winter fuel allowance. There is nothing whataboutery (not even a word) but one very popular with a certain section who don’t like their views questioned. I note you did not justify the Jimmy Saville statement is that because the truth that de Pfeffel made it up too much for you to accept.

It was Labour who stated over 4K pensioners would die. So what’s changed?

Which part because I doubt the ruling party would announce it. I don’t want any oap’s to die but sadly they will because they do every Winter because of various factors. I had to endure the funeral of my own mother about the time de Pfeffel was partying. She passed away in a nursing home but according to de Pfeffel it was time she had a good innings and what did he say let the bodies pile high.

Old people are the demographic that voted for the Tories and voted for Brexit and have had their pensions protected whilst working people have got poorer over the past 14 years thanks to the effect of those votes.

Labour now has to try and tidy up the mess and the deficits they have inherited. And if finding money for other important things means the WFA has to go for all but the most needy then I for one am happy that this most selfish and entitled generation will feel just a bit of the consequences of their actions for once*.

(* - yes I know there are a good number of older people who didn't vote for these things but unfortunately they'll need to take that up with the rest of their cohort.)

Let all the doubters keep doubting and those who believe keep believing.

We’re only interested in those in the bubble. Anyone who wants to come in the bubble, you can come in.

But you’ve got to keep believing.

So sod the pensioners then , as long as we're sending billions to other countries it's all good. What a warped sense of priorities you have

Yes, sod the pensioners, they're the ones who got us into this mess.

And if they'd put more into their pensions when they were younger they wouldn't be reliant on £300 now.
