Every player in the world makes cock-ups on the field. I think you are being over critical. His kick from the touchline was when it "absolutely counted" was top notch.

he defines 'they cant run without their legs'... the number of times he simply chops down a huge runner with that tackle is amazing... sure, winning the wrestle and pushing the man backwards is great.. but when someone is in full flow and running straight at the line... you want Yates as first man into the tackle every single time.

I am absolutely not being overly critical lol. He is being paid good money in a team near the top of the top competition. He can't be putting in kicks like that when we had one last set to defend that should have started in their own 20.

Percival is off? Where to? I knew they had a few leaving, most notably Makinson but I hadn't realised he was gone too...

I think this game and the way we won it, is finally the monkey off the back (with Saints). However, it needs to be the catalyst for surgically removing the Gorilla that is our grand final record.

Wire needed that type of game tonight, after three easy games in which Wires defence wasn’t really tested.

He's not transferring to another club I think, so presumably Gross Misconduct dismissal? :D

Even the best make mistakes no matter how much they are paid. The game is all about mistakes & taking advantage of them. Saints fans will not be blaming their defeat on him.
