Would you still be saying that if Percivals kick put them 24-22 ahead as the hooter went? I very much doubt it. He had a mostly solid game, but when it absolutely counted and he just needed to hoof it down field like he'd done all game, he pulled out an even worse kick lol.

You would think I would be over it by now really. I was there when we beat them at Widnes' ground to finally end it, I was there when we won play off semi finals at their ground twice, I was there when we beat them at Wembley, I've been there for plenty more wins against them on top of all that, including nilling them and Magic Weekend showpieces.

There is no reason whatsoever for them to still be in my head. But they absolutely are!

Isn't there a safety-mechanism algorithm that's designed to automatically close RedVee down in situations such as this?

I will say though, there is no lack of effort from anyone. There are players coming up with clangers, but the effort areas are always there.

I think since 2012 we have won 7 of 8 knock out games against them!

Now you going into realms of if buts and maybe. No point in that or you could say if Percival sliced it to touch to give us the next chance was that not a difference. No point in speculation, I excepted your PoV I just felt it harsh in the context of the result and end of day scoreboard says we won.

In another view I thought it was exactly the intense game we needed going into next week.

WireWireWire wrote:Yes, that pudding. Tipped the ball on fair play. He still is the worst open play kicker I've seen in a long time. Dreadful. He had a pretty good game defensively but come on, 2 mins to go and you put a kick like THAT in. beggars belief.

could have been worse.... could have percivals kick straight into touch, as his last action for the club.

Thought Yates’ tackling technique, around the ankles and dropping them like a stone, particularly on Walmsley, has been superb.
