Would that be the same pudding that got us a try to take the lead. I get he as not been the greatest but he was there when it mattered tonight.
More than once - including on the 80 minute mark - I was convinced we were done and just wanted putting out of my misery.
I probably went to a high majority of our games against them home and away during "the hoodoo" years, so actually ending up on the right side of a result like that against them of all teams feels unbelievable!

Well we owed them a last minute defeat. Feel like I played every minute, and if there were too many mistakes on both sides it was still an absolute belter of an RL match. Both sets of players put the heir heart and soul into that game. I know Drinkwater isn’t the most skilful player BUT he has played a significant role this season which is probably not unrelated to how George Williams has played, so I find the name calling rather distasteful, but each to their own I suppose.
Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.
I would love to see Thewlis have more confidence to back himself going for te line on the outside. He loses too much time trying to cut inside & could maybe have had 1 or 2 tries in the first half , instead the chance went begging.

As a veteran of the hoodoo years I can only agree! It was absolutely HORRIBLE hearing them doing that thing where they chant your songs back to you and all that, I had a feeling in the pit of my stomach we were gonna embarrass ourselves but that fightback and backbone was epic.

Yes, that pudding. Tipped the ball on fair play. He still is the worst open play kicker I've seen in a long time. Dreadful. He had a pretty good game defensively but come on, 2 mins to go and you put a kick like THAT in. beggars belief.

As I said he was there to flick that ball that sent Ashton in to take the lead, when you have Williams and Dufty as the headline makers it’s players like Drinkwater that can turn up when it matters. If he does nothing else the rest of this season but helps create a poss winning try il take that.

I accept it’s your PoV and are entitled to it, I my self will be critical of players over the years but that moment when he chased the ball and flicked it back for the try you have to give him that over any mistake made in the game today.
