Byrne was a non starter to begin with. If Wigan are feeling the cap squeeze I can see them letting him to speak to other clubs and letting him out of his last year but if so you’d imagine he’d go to Salford. If not Salford you’d expect Leigh or even possibly Huddersfield/Leeds might be commutable. To pay players Lancashire players to relocate here you’d have to pay a big premium.
