Same energy as ‘This shop in now closed’ without any signposting to where to go if you want to return an item. For a fella that has done so much for the club it’s difficult to support his way of doing things.

I would have used the opportunity to have one last rant at the RFL & IMG. As for most things with Hughes, apart from the money, totally uninspiring.

There are lots of reasons why now is a reasonable time for him to step away but fundamentally we all think it’s because he’s angry with the lack of support from RFL/IMG don’t we? So it is really surprising he didn’t wade in. “I warned you what would happen but oh no you would t listen well take that no more RL in London how do you like that?” It would look poor but why not be hung for a sheep as a lamb. Maybe he just simply couldn’t be bothered anymore.

lol.....the idea of Hughes saying he warned anyone it would happen is ironic to say the least.
