Not much chance of us signing Genge. He is a as strong a runner as we have playing for England but it is currently very thin. Someone making up stories. I quite like us being in the news & we have history. Thankfully we now have a gritty lot of players & coach so it really makes no odds.
It’s sad, but the KFP reference actually adds to it. Imagine reading any serious CEO attempting to sign players literally from another sport at a fishing competition. Part of the problem, I’m afraid. The solution appears very much that Chambers and Burgess continue uninterrupted, time to move on from KFP.

To be fair to our CEO the story could all just be a red herring

He'd need to lose about a stone i reckon to improve on his fitness......tackling.......etc but this could be a random rumour that some desperate journo has made up, or Karl himself drumming up publicity.
What does it say to young players in our squad striving for that position?

Is a fishing competition really that bad of a thing or is this a snobbery issue? Would it be alright if someone attempted to sign someone at a cricket game for instance?

Don’t get me started on cricket, I’ve more chance of understanding the wrestling mathematician
Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.
