Young player has to be Nsemba, but I'd like ti think Martin makes the top 3 Cant think of two better young players this year.

Think Sneyd and Lewis are nailed on for top 3. 3rd place is up for grabs with a few contenders. Wardle as you say is likely one. Dufty has been a bit all over the shop in defence at times but going forwards he's been unplayable at times. Top metre maker by almost 500 and averages over 190 metres a game.
Also wouldn't be surprised, or disappointed, to see Luke Thompson in the top 3. Wigan have an awesome pack and he has led it from the front, putting in 80 minutes performances on a few occasions. Doesn't do the flash stuff of an Ese'Ese or a Mago, but he grafts like hell and has been consistently strong in the middle.
Ultimately Lewis will probably win it. Would have been interesting to see Rovers this year without him for a period because nearly everything they do goes through him.

I think Lewis deserves to win it. He's got better year by year.

Think he will do one more year at Rovers and then try the NRL.

Lewis also been the standout player in the last few months so will likely win it. Sneyd probably more consistent over the season but unlikely to get the nod imo. Both would be worthy winners

Wardle was nowhere near the top at the last published leaderboard which I think was after round 18. Top three was
1 Sneyd
2 Dufty
3 Moylan/Macdonald

You'd imagine that Lewis will be up there by now with Rovers winning most of their games since then and therefore more likely to pick up points. At that cut off point for the published table our highest ranked player was Tex Hoy!

Don't like the way they decide the top 3, you could be the best player for a few games then awful for a majority.

Moylan is the perfect example.

Yes, it's a flawed system. Like the old method of selecting Man of Steel when every SL player picked their top three and many just took the mickey. I remember Miloudi picking up a lot of votes one year.

Fair play to McDonald and Rowley, if we had signed him from Leeds people would have been slating the club but shows what can happen when you have a good system to play in. Salford have turned quite a few careers around the last 5 years or so.
