Does he have the motivation though, he has done it before, let's see what happens.

I don't think he has. Even when he got picked for England after producing the form of his career he was overweight but at least it didn't affect his performances. I don't like to criticise individual players but watching him last week was embarrassing. I've never seen a half back as overweight as him even before the full time days. He must be 3 stone overweight at least.

This is not fat shaming because his job is a professional athlete who should take responsibility for his physique not only for himself but for good of the team.

It frustrates because with the talent he has he should be one of the best half backs in SL.

God knows what Cartwright and the conditioning team think of him. Maybe the only solution is to fine him like they do to footballers even when they are only a few pounds overweight because dropping him doesn't seem to work.

Location: In the land of wishful thinking once more. Patiently waiting for our time to finally arrive.
Since the start of August our average score is roughly 8 - 44.
Don't think any of us will be in any way surprised if that's the final score tomorrow.

Catalans seem to have a few issues in scoring of late, but I'm sure we will be more than helpful to cure them of any lingering problems in that department!

By 5pm Saturday we can all try to forget that the past seven months really did happen and go and do something else infinitely more enjoyable, at least until next February when the merry-go-round will start all over once more.

I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

Money doesn't talk it swears, Obscenity who really cares, Propaganda all is phony.

I'm the son and heir of a shyness which is criminally vulgar.

Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way.

fining him for being overweight could be a good income generator for the club

Ok. Going tomorrow. Why good question. Mainly because it's the last match and I support FC

It comes as no real surprise given the current state of the club and i appreciate that pretty much everyone associated with the club just wants the season over, however i cannot help but think the build up to what is going to be the last game for the greatest player we have had in the modern era has been poor.

A game against Catalans would be the perfect opportunity to put a ticket offer on, or tickets to school kids in the north stand, its such a shame that Danny (along with Carlos)'s last game is going to be played in front of around 7K supporters who realistically will be begging for the full time whistle.

On the basis that every negative has a positive you may well be right.

I'll be there not because I want to but because I feel I have to. No doubt sat there counting down the clock wishing it will end as quickly as possible.

Even through these dark days there's always hope on the horizon.

To be fair to the club there they've done a few tickets deals already this year and if you do too many it annoys the Pass Holders.

I'd rather we get the team into some sort of order before we start trying to lure newcomers and lapsed fans back.
