Really baffled by SKYs decision to move the games try could have some split screen melodrama tonight about where the league leaders, playoff and bottom places are going. And they are only showing Stoke-City on the other channels so hardly blockbuster competition.
Game needs to work on its scheduling next, it's felt worse than ever for baffling timeslots. BBC seem to be deliberately picking a bad option to show as well which is baffling but they have form for treating RL as a joke.

Plenty of people thought Nu Brown was a good signing especially after his NZ apperances last Autumn. Conversely some thought Ashworth was a poor signing but he's done OK.
Out of most of the players signed elsewhere for next year, Borough, Cust and Holmes are the only ones not playing with their respective clubs. I just don’t see any of them as good/positive signings, time will tell. But not hopeful.

I just don’t buy into the they aren’t playing because they are leaving rubbish. Pretty much every other player leaving is playing, Asiata, Johnstone, Davies, makinson, Partington, Hall, Masters just to name a few. They just aren’t very good signings. Would love to be proven wrong.

They aren't playing because they're not good enough to get into their current teams. No coach in his right mind leaves out someone just because they are leaving. Half the teams in SL would struggle to field a team if they did
Salford and Leigh to lesser extent were stocked full of players that other clubs didn’t want. Myler & Cartwright know these players personally. Jackson Hastings was outstanding for Salford but it didn’t work out so well at Wigan. We all know they’re not world beaters but just give them a chance first. Constant moaning about them isn’t going to change the clubs mind.

Hasn’t Holmes been injured most of the season and before you say signing an injured player blah blah…it happens in sport. As for not playing….Raynor,Dowes,Carvell weren’t regulars but they turned out ok….I don’t buy into this because they aren’t playing because they are rubbish crap….this forum is full of posters who think they are Wayne Bennett but ultimately know sod all….think il trust a DOR who is a former lance todd winner and played to highest level and our new coach

Do you trust them enough to get off your ass and go to a game though?

Agreed. Cust/Abdull/Sezer don't get the heart racing in excitement for next year but we aren't in a position to be choosey. Due to our form over the last five or six seasons and our recent record of releasing players early we are not an attractive proposition to potential signings. If we'd had a great couple of years and won a trophy or two I'd imagine Lachlan Lam would've probably signed for us.
I'm willing to see how they go in a Hull shirt. Abdull/Sezer in the halves and Cust/Bourouh hooking looks a whole lot better than Walker/Smith and Lane, in theory at least.
