You're quite right, good spot. Would be perfectly happy to see him as cover in the middle or off the bench at 13.

As poplar and shifty cat have pointed out, we actually have more depth in the forwards than I'd realised. We also have Kay for another year. So in a nutshell, if we re-sign Hood, and M Russell, Rourke and Niketemo come to fruition, then we have a 31-man squad. A real strong 17 (with a few question marks), a mixed but solid 13 in reserve, and Kay who can cover for all 30 of them.

Apparently Powell has told Law he’s not in his plans so won’t be surprised if he makes his York move permanent

Delany is contracted until the end of 2025 the other two are out of contract

I was suspecting that may be the case. Law has been full time for 3 years.

I suspect he’s go the ability. We may see that in a few years though and not in the short term I suspect.

As soon as I saw he was allowed to play against us last week, I assumed he wouldn’t be sort of our first team plans moving forward.

He’s the kind of lad though that can go away get games under his belt and come back to play in SL given his attitude and versatility.
