Like what position are we likely to be in, Derek seems 100% confident some 11 months ago but been quiet on journalists and anyone of note since on any updates
last quote seen from derek was that he was certain the proces woulf end in legal action dont know if he meant from us?
last i saw from rl they issued warnings about clubs inflating attendance figures
Assume he means for the club that dosent get in, or if we are the club that dosent get in
He made it clear we will improve on finances, our attendance this season won’t take us over the average threshold for a the next points, perhaps media engagements? Dunno how league position will help if that’s a rolling average or not, I don’t really know enough about it to know where we can and will improve Sure we are pushing to do all we can
But for me we surly are the model club or idea of what is ideal, pre match entertainment done right, squad building, progressive team, fan base rising year on year and great attendances, then better finances with Derek but also becoming more self sufficient, add real competition to the league and just in general, seem to be going places with a coach like Lammy committing to 3 years, an academy licence being granted
A young, nubile semi professional in a team of part timers against a highly decorated long serving pro, in a full time team. Not the fairest of comparisons

Harsh to judge someone on their performance against Blake Ferguson as a 19 year old. But we could do with a winger that can get us on the front foot early in sets. Not sure McIntosh gives us that, and given our kicking game is likely to be lacking again next year, and we're losing key forwards, it will be needed even more.

Based on reports, rumours etc, could be looking at this:
Backs - Armstrong, Charnley, Niu, Hanley, McIntosh, Hodgson, Brand, Towse Half backs - Lam, Moylan, O'Brien, McNamara Props / loose forwards - Pene, Mulhern, Trout, Hughes (since move this year), Norman, Brogan, Davis, Liu Second row - Halton, Condon (all i've seen on that is a post on this forum though), Brad Martin Hooker - Ipape, Dwyer (plus Davis and McNamara)
That would give us 25. Chester is quoted as saying that there's 33 signed up for next season. Don't know if the other 8 would be new signings, promotions from reserves or a mix of the two. But I'd say we need a prop to be ahead of Norman and Brogan in the pecking order, and another second row.
Group of backs is starting to look a lot younger. That could be a good or a bad thing.
