Don't think we will see Lino again in a Wakefield shirt.
Yorks late hits and aggressive defence seemed to get at us a bit, don't think we matched them in terms of aggression. Hope Powell rests and rotates now until play-offs a lot of players seem to be playing banged up.

I thought Gale had a great game yesterday. They really targeted him and he stood up really well. Bailey hit him late every kick and ran hard at him but Gale just kept taking him down with aggressive defense.
I think he'll be really missed next year. I like the players we've brought in but I don't feel like we have a 'boss'

Where have you heard Lino's fit? I hope you're right but listening to interviews I'm not so sure. Also not sure where the talk of him moving on is coming from. Why would he? Where to? He's contracted, and one of three halves (plus Lawford who's still developing next year) battling it out for two spots.
Of all positions, half is probably the hardest to get thrown in, especially when the pressure's on. Requires a good understanding of your outside runners, their trust, play calls etc. For loads of reasons, if Lino's fit I think our halves will be Lino and Gale. But I don't think he'll be fit, so it's either Jowitt and Gale (shame to lose Max at FB), or Trueman and Gale (risk throwing Trueman in, and gutted for Walmsley who'd probably lose his place in the team).

Going on Lino it was an abscess so I hear and it was not healing. However i am sure I saw a clip of him training recently and also saw him before the game and the indication was that he was just about ready. So like I say I believe Powell will want to get a game out of him before the play offs and my bet is he will have a run out against Barrow.

We need halfbacks, we been limping along in this department for the majority of the season. It's more apparent in the tougher games, but still it was a concern at the start of the year and has only got worse.

I’m not sure he’s been missed much as we have had a lot of healthy score lines and won every game.
But he would be an improvement on Kay. No slight on Kay as he’s done a grand job at filling in but I see him as utility back up/squad rotation and nothing wrong with that.

I think there’s two weeks off before our semi final.
IMO Max will be focused on Objective 1:Super League Points/tries/ conversions are what they are. R
