I think a clean break would maybe bring in a bit of optimism and help sales, but it’s going to go the other way, people have convinced themselves with silly rumours that the club is going to be bought out when it isn’t and will end up disappointed.
People say a lot of things through frustration but despite your continuous doom mongering attendances next year will be roughly the same as this year.

I think you’ll be very wrong on that but either way other than remaining as customers ourselves there’s not a lot we can do about the choices of others.
Like I say although the lack of crowd today and likely hammering (we keep saying we’ve hit rock bottom but I actually think today might actually be ground zero) will be painful for those of us who love this club it might serve as a further wake up call for the hierarchy to make a real push at keeping supporters. I’m assuming this might happen when the off field investment situation is sorted, although with signings pretty much done and prices set they’ll have to be pretty innovative at creating a buzz.

A win for Salford will see them qualify for the play-offs. Looking at the current state of play around the 5th-7th group, there is a decent chance Catalans will be in the same situation when they arrive here next Saturday.
Unless our team wake themselves up from the lethargy which has enveloped them in recent weeks (unlikely I think you have to say!) then we will finish 2024 as we started it, being outclassed by teams more focussed and way better organized than ourselves.
On the plus side, at least I will have plenty of room to stretch my legs out in South Stand whilst watching the last two ritual humiliations in a year we will probably never forget (for all the wrong reasons!).
I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

We haven't done a proper review," Grix said: "Other than the opening few sets where we defended pretty well, there's not much positive to take out of that game to move forward. Sometimes, the experience is enough. It was a low point; we've had a few this year, and that one felt really low. Unfortunately, it was a hard one for everyone to swallow. We're not in the best spot; it's fair to say, both mentally and physically, as a group, the bodies we have out and all those bits, it’s all rolled into a tough position."
Grix added: "I try to avoid excuses, but there is so much context within what has happened this season; from where we started round one, the team looks totally different. There's been a lot that has gone on between that time that has been challenging.
"It's been a tough old year, but with two games left, I can only assure you that we'll do our very best to make sure that we train at the right level and try to get our performance back up to where they need to be."
He is making Peter Walsh/Richard Agar/Len Casey sound like world beaters…we haven’t done a review???..Wtf have you been doing then..I hope your days are numbered and you sod off back to Halifax where you belong.
I know he's not popular and it's yet another stick to beat him with but coaches saying they've only done a cursory review of absolutely dreadful performances is quite common. I've heard it loads of times.

I don’t particularly like him or even rate him but fans always need someone to blame and take frustrations out on and it’s usually the coach. Every SL game is men against boys and it would be if Wayne Bennett was coaching this lot. The club have wrote the season off completely months ago I don’t remember any club doing that even in the licensing days. It’s a unique situation for any coach to be in and literally an impossible task.

Think you will be surprised There is nothing in that recruitment that will remove the apathy built up in fans. serious question what do you think the gate will be today and by that i mean actual supporters in the ground?
