The overall standard of SL this season has been poor imo and I see little sign of change in the make up next season.

Everyone said Fitzgibbon was done and retiring after his did his shoulder the first time. Then he came back, fair enough it's a reoccurrence of the same injury, but doesn't mean it's a retirement injury.
If he's done for this season he's got around 5 months to have Surgery if needed and rehab. Or just 5 months to rehab and strengthen it again. Would have to wait until next year to see.

He’s done! Gutted because he was a class act in all departments but confident the club will replace suitably.

Dammit. He’s played his part for the club, even though he was only here for a short while. Let’s hope we can make it over the big line and dedicate it to him.
