I hope I'm wrong but do feel if the club hit 4K renewals then they've done well
It's one thing missing a few games but to stop going altogether is a different matter. As I say we will have far more than 4000 members next season, be sure of that.
Trouble is if we all down tools and didn't renew we wouldn't have a club. Yes I understand some not renewing but the bottom line is without mugs like me we wouldn't have a team. We will come good in the end. Now when that is is anybody's guess?

Anyone who thinks we won't get anywhere near 10K next year is either daft or is being ultra negative on purpose. We'll still average over 10K next year, especially if we can have a decent ish start people will soon start coming back.
With a decent team near the top end of SL were one of only a few teams who can regularly draw 13-14K every week.

To be fair I can understand why that is wearing thin with some people you can hardly blame them, it’s an expensive hobby especially with the cost of living and we aren’t exactly getting value for money

I just hope they’ve been realistic and budgeted for the big decrease in memberships and attendances. It’s not just financially the IMG threshold is 7.5K average and we’ll only get 1 derby next season so there’s that to think about too.
Like Eamon McManus alluded to when talking about Saints finances he thinks not keeping competitive is a false economy in this sport. AP obviously thinks differently but I’m not so confident in the supporters loyalty. I know so many previous die hards who’ve said they won’t be bothering anymore.

He never did, that was Vince Groak, Steve and Company, Dan produced Up the Cream which he was advised to stop on joining the Mail probably because he criticised the club too much in it so instead now he does that in the Mail
