There will be one thing for next season…we will have options in the spine if injury’s/suspensions bite 1…Rapana/Hardacker/Moy/Walker? 6/7Abdul/Cust/Sezer/Charles 9…Cust/Balmforth/Borouh 13…Asiata/Abdul? More cover and let’s face it….a bloody damn sight better than this seasons and a lot more quality.

Agreed but also on the field wise it’s not like having some depth in the spine positions wouldn’t be absolutely vital. Even if all 3 are fit and raring to go start of the season nobodies going to be sat twiddling thumbs for long. Rovers are the only team I can think of this season that haven’t had any spine players missing for a decent spell.

What Cust will do is put pressure on Abdul. That can only be a good thing. Although it shouldn't be necessary, you never know.

With them dropping the big signings announcements this week I'm betting season pass brochures are in the post!

Surely they wouldn't do that until Cust is announced...

Abdul's full wage doesn't count on the cap. Shows the club are trying to maximise the cap available. Criticise the signing, but you won't get a comparable signing for £50K per season (the amount that counts towards the cap).

Abdul won't manage 8 minutes at 13
