If the link works it should be to Mike Eccles post match interview
For me that’s the game we had the best chance of winning one of our last three games gone.
Answer to the final question at the post match interview tells a big story. We really have gone down the not recruiting or retaining route. Who says planning is key to success! I wonder if Eccles is having a think about his own position- next year looks a massive hospital pass to me. As for the impact on all those IMG markers like attendance, local engagement and social media hits - a struggling Championship team will impact on our score for years to come.

Is that number of conversions or number as a percentage of attempts. If it’s the latter we must have had some stinkers or only ever scored right in the corner.

It's number of goals, can't find anything on % & I assume up to date. Diamond 305, Sykes 287, Gallagher 197, Martin 182 & Oli on 168 with Purdo on 166. Wharton has 154 & Barwick 138 both from much fewer appearances. Obviously if Dixon had stayed, he'd be well up there.
One issue I think we have is the lack of real pace in the backs so we are rarely in a position to run in under the sticks from deep.

Boafo used to be pretty quick but he’s not featured this season

Yes I think that is right. In any event as we don’t appear to be prepared to recruit we’re unlikely to upgrade on backs or kickers. On the plus side we can agree to never do a short drop out ever again. The positives from that tactic have been dwarfed by the negatives.

I would imagine one or two SL clubs will have looked at Eccles, what he’s managed to do against the odds at London, and maybe would make him an offer- perhaps as head coach or as second in command.
He can’t be happy with the way our squad is being picked apart with no replacements anywhere in sight- if I was him and a decent offer came up, well I’d be sorely tempted. Suppose it depends if he’s settled down South, family and so on. He’s been part of the Broncos set up for a while now.
Would be gutted to see us lose another good coach, having lost Langer and Ward in the recent past.

Very quick and very elusive something we missed last season in the Championship. I assume his defence has been found to be lacking. I hope we have him on a 2 because he will be a real threat in the Championship…assuming there is any one to pass to him.

I’m certain there would be Championship sides queuing up for him and definitely Assistant roles in SL but his route to management is unusual and I wonder if Broncos is just a good fit for him. And as with all involved in RL down south, there is only one team here and if you want a move then you have to move out of London and coming back is tricky. But of course he must be choked by what is happening and it must be difficult to get motivated if we have,in essence, thrown our toys out of the pram.
1997. A lifetime ago. Remember the optimism back then! London Broncos? Optimism? Optimism! We were all deluded. Obviously. Still, Greg Barwick. One of my all time favourite players. Absolute quality.

And a couple of the wingers who we've picked before him have proved to be ROCK SOLID defensively. Oh, hold on. Perhaps not. And one of them isn't even really a winger.
