Hard to predict what Briers could do with Saints attack. He clearly made a difference at Wigan, got big raps at Brisbane, yet didn't manage to do anything with our attack under Price.
I'm pretty sure he sees Wellens' job up for grabs mid-2025, but I'm not sure he's right for the head coach role. Hard to see his half-time team talks motivating the Saints squad.

That was my initial reaction, but after yesterday's financial statement, I'm not sure that Skints, sorry Saints, could afford to sack Wellens and pay him off.

I don't have a problem with him, but I don't particularly wish him well at Saints, and if Burgess left tomorrow I wouldn't want him as Wires' head coach.
