Not privy to much information on this particular scenario and with infighting and rumour plaguing social media it’s difficult to know what to believe . I can’t believe that savvy businessmen have allowed us to get into this mess as supposed custodians of the club . Something feels off to me , call it gut instinct but it all feels manufactured . My trust is definitely being tested , undecided as to whether we are all being fed a false narrative and these call for funds are being used for other things or these custodians really played stupid games with the taxman .

I’m not aware of how that meeting went but obviously it was a while ago as Mark Moore hasn’t been involved with the club since October 2017 when he resigned as a director.

I’m only going by what the trust replied to my post with.

Too many questions still exist for me to donate anything other than £25 for my ticket today.

Like you I don't and as said before probably never will know the truth of who's done or failed to do this or that.

Currently when you look on social media in and amongst it all some of the posts are from current members of staff, employees, players and their families and you can see the emotions involved with it being both a threat to the club that they love and their livelihoods involved so that part of it all seems real enough so they haven't been involved in any big cover up conspiracy you would conclude.

We do know is at least 2 sponsors have failed / failing along the way with 1 of them being as recent as the middle of August and the club will be missing anything coming from the other members of the board who have walked along with falling crowds.

We had a cash flow at the start of the season with no home games early on and since then as above cash flow has been seriously affected.

Looks like we've been living on a shoe string with nothing in reserves, those who are left on the BoD must have known about it maybe thinking they could struggle through until it became impossible to keep it quiet.

Said before, if we survive this crisis, transparency from this point on is absolutely crucial to be able to survive moving on.

If your coming over let me know and we'll sort something out and make sure we're not in!!

I'm going on what Mark Moore posted this week with him being involved with the current fund raising and he's certainly aware of what happened at Bradford and the risks involved in handing any cash over.

Didn't Linda Kitson also mention they had a legal responsibility to ensure due diligence in passing on the trusts money in the same or a concurrent thread?

You read that much it all gets mixed up but I'm sure there will be an update soon because you would expect them to be presenting something possibly at the match today.

Pretty much every post that has gone out he has been posting the link for donations. I'd love to know his overall thoughts on the whole situation, as faxcar says he is more than aware of some of the stuff that went on at Bradford so I am a little bit surprised he is encouraging people to hand over money to what seemingly looks like a lost cause and I wonder if he has any faith in the people running the club to do the right thing with the money donated. Maybe it turns out they hold the money back that has been donated but who knows.

Just on the sponsors going bust thing, it is rare that a sponsor would be signed up without either paying the money up front or at least in installments for the sponsorship so its unlikley the club lost fully out on these deals but if they did then again it is really poor due dilligence and management. They talk like a new deal that was missed out on has had a great effect but that really should not be taken in to consideration until the deal is over the line. The 100k deal and talk of it been for shirt sponsorships is just pie in the sky stuff.

DPF has failed on the car so trying to sort that so can’t make it today .

I’ve done a bit more digging ( inadvertently) but ultimately it’s seems the club is split into to two trains of thought .

The club are deliberately going to let the club go bust and start fresh with new investment.

The directors don’t want the club to go bust because they’ll lose their own personal investment.

The investment/creditors are strongly rumoured to be the fraine bros , but I don’t know how much involvement they have now or in the future.

Who are the Fraine brothers?
