I'm pretty sure when we were 80 mins from winning it in 2016 most of that lot were telling us it didn't mean anything, now all of a sudden it does, funny that.
Jesus, this Rovers reporter doesn’t half know how to polish a turd.I couldn’t give a rats ar$e about it even if we was in the hunt for it.1st awarded in 2002…Leeds have won it only 3 times and have won 8 grand finals..I bet the wasn’t bothered when they didn’t win the LLS..made me laugh when he mentioned the northern rail Mickey Mouse cup….they won that prestigious trophy in front of 9000 fans in 2005 whilst we was winning some tin pot cup at Cardiff in front of 74.000 fans.

Unfortunately the SL League Leaders shield has all the significance, gravitas, importance, magnitude and whatever other possible words as winning the Presidents Trophy in the NHL................. absolutely none. Similar to Presidents Trophy winners very few put any value on winning it or ever remember who won it, all that matters and is important is the Stanley Cup. The SL League Leaders shield is exactly the same, no one is really interested as people only ever remember the Winners of the GF, hell I bet more people can reel off the GF losers more than the shield winners.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

So we have a competition where coming top of the league in S/L and the Championship means nothing I dont know how much money the S/L champions receive but it deserves better recognition. maybe all home games in the Challenge cup would be something to recognise the achievement
The reward for finishing top is a home route to the real prize, the grand final. I think they also get £100k which is usually split between the players.
It's a good achievement but, unfortunately for the great unwashed, not a major trophy
They really are the neediest supporters in Super League aren't they?
Dave hit the nail on the head, if the occasion doesn't warrant a victory parade it's not that important although knowing tjat lot they'll have one anyway.

They won`t finish top if they lose tonight`s game.
Considering its just a game in a meaningless competition no better than the Steve Prescott trophy, plenty of you lot are feeling the need to put your two pennies worth in haha. Better to be in these games than just waiting for next season eh
