From the Hull press conference Arthur is after a strong running outside back and a prop at the minimum. The back doesn't make much sense unless someone else is leaving. I can understand it as we have no punch in the backs, which makes it hard for the halfbacks to create on top of having nobody to bend the line up the middle. But unless we free up another quota spot I'd be worried if we only get one new forward, as it feels the front row needs major surgery and not just tinkering.

If there was, the problem is they dont play anything close to 80 minutes

It's an interesting one. I think as well as goal kicking, we also lack speed in the backs. Ash is great over long distances, but he doesn't have the same electric burst of speed that Field or French do. Miller and Croft aren't nearly as quick as I thought they would be. I wonder if Arthur has seen that as a weakness in out backline. If we could get a goal kicking centre outside back who was electric, and a decent prop it could really change things for us. Two props would be even better!

I thought they had released him along with two others, Nikorima and someone else a French player? To my (admittedly weak) knowledge, he doesn't have a club at the moment?
Didn't they all miss training or a flight home or something to attend a concert?
It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

He is still young, and will be a top winger for the next 8 years.
No way we can match what saints will be paying him, he's their makinson replacement. Maybe if Handley were leaving, but we need to spend the cap elsewhere than another winger
