We can all see that virtually all the RL clubs, including Super League, are insolvent. The sport as a whole has been sleep walking into oblivion. Wait for others to follow.
Probably the best option would be to go into administration otherwise it's just throwing good money after bad, kicking the can down the road, with the same outcome. Then start with a clean slate in League 1, get rid of the white elephant and tap the Council for a much smaller new stadium which should pay for itself through additional income streams.
The debt has become far too large - £540k in 2023, probably much worse now. Cannot possibly see the club digging itself out of this huge hole.
There is no way the council would sell the shay site for housing/ shopping or what ever and then plow that revenue into a new stadium. Even if that stadium is smaller. One the council sell the Shay, and I feel they will sooner than later, they will be done with supporting professional sport in this town.
From the statement the tax man is the main debtor they want to serve first. However in your initial post TF you stated the money owed to the tax man was 47k alone. Goodness knows what it is now.

Doesn't look good at all. Hope you lot can get through it. I'll be happy to put my hand in my pocket if need be. We all need to stick together as it's clear that all clubs are in the same boat.

I think a Bradford Bulls fan has said it best on FB, as much as we are all fans, be very careful what you put in to the club and do not put in more than you can afford because it has to be close to zero chance that you would ever see any of that money back. The BOD or whatever is left to them need to be very clear from this point because over two weeks we have had very different outlooks from them and I think they need to lay all the cards on the table which they are not doing at the moment.
What is the plan for the future? We are clearly not managing the debt and fans donating money as "loans" is certainly not a long term answer. I think Dvada on the other thread puts it right when he asks about the board saying where this 700k that they have supposedly put in has gone. The main question at this point with HMRC likely to wind the club up, if they refused an extension is highly likely that we have asked for and used them previously and this is the final notice, is it worth the club carrying on? May as well start afresh with a clean slate and lets get out of the Shay and get begging to other clubs for somewhere more sustainable to play. What a mess.

That Panthers rebrand really worked wonders didnt it!!
Paying big money you didnt have to Eden and Widdop , not paying HMRC or stadium rent and now wanting fans to bail you out. Should be a points deduction and relegated to League 1, along with being stripped of next years central funding which should be re disributed accross the other Championship teams.
Teams like Fax need to cut their cloth accordingley.

I can only guess what the monthly PAYE creditor "should" be, but £47k did seem rather high when I first looked at the accounts. I've looked at Widnes and York and they had similar amounts outstanding. Fax did say in today's statement that other clubs have also asked for extensions. Like GFB says .... "What a mess".
