But that's the point of IMG recommendation. They want to make a league of teams that are self sustaining, so that the Sky money isn't as big an impact.

Fev can go 5th if they beat. Dewsbury by 26+, and 4th if they win by more than 80
Widnes could go into 4th if they can beat Toulouse, which would then give Bradford a chance of 2nd spot if they beat Halifax
Confirms my view that this is a very competitive division apart from us at the top and Dewsbury at the bottom. We'll need to be on top form come the play offs.

York vs Fev next week should be a cracker. In effect it’s a play off for the play offs.
Both Widnes & Sheffield should win, so the loser likely to be 7th & the winner 4th. Suspect that Fev will miss out & we will end up playing York in the PO semi at BV.
Agreed York v Featherstone is a massive game next week. If you take us and Dewsbury out of the equation it has been a fascinating season with the play off places only being finalised on the last day of the regular season. Four teams are competing for three places and one of them is going to be very unlucky. Such a shame that a TV deal wasn't sorted out to showcase the Championship to a wider audience

It might be competitive but the standard is awful.

There's some technically very good teams in the Championship, I'd go as far as to say there are games where Trinity have been outdone in pure rugby terms but our far superior physicality has won the game. Apart from the two outliers at either end of the table the Championship has been a close fought and exciting division this year.

I could say the same about some Super League games I’ve watched this season, turned a few games off before final whistle the game was so poor to watch.

Fitness levels have played a big part as well. How many games have we seen where the first half was tight then we have blown the opposition away the second half?
