Constantly slating it without even giving it a chance is doing nobody include yourself any favours. And I'm not kidding myself that we'll become a great club overnight but things are changing and we have to try and give it a chance as what else have we got? Nobody knows how this new team will gel, Myler could of put the new Salford together equally it could be massively poop but you have to try and give it a chance. This could be our last chance saloon as if it all goes wrong we could easily be the next bradford bulls

Very well said Seb. Grix said in his press conference after the game on Saturday that as well as the playing group that there will be significant changes in the backroom staff too. New physio has been announced and a new assistant is also sorted plus Wilf mentioned the new head of strength and conditioning is already at the club.
Tbf to Seb, whilst he is definitely more on the negative end of the spectrum, he isn't generally unreasonable. He gives credit where it's due and just says things the way he sees them.
He's dead right in what he says too. This season has been a disaster and we are just staggering our way to the end of it waiting to be put out of our misery. There's not much point dissecting these last few games, it is what it is. Changes are happening and we just have to judge Myler and the club as a whole based on what happens from season onwards. I'm not a happy clapper by any means, but if the club ever needed the fans to get behind it this is the time. We aren't going to turn it around overnight but we desperately need to show some improvement in 2025.

It's been the same story for years now though hasn't it? There are those who believe our recruitment will improve us and those who think it's the same old story of ageing journeymen and over the hill overseas players we've seen playing out since 2018 which has seen us decline to the place we are now.
Seeing the number of pass holders not attending, I genuinely think this season was make or break for a lot of people.
Honestly, there is nothing at all in our recruitment to excite anyone

Other new problem to throw in is every game now being on Sky sports+ cos t of sky subscription or trip to pub tempting compared to paying for a pass to sit in an empty stadium miserable

The main thing is to improve the robustness of the squad and get value for money, so signing Hardraker and Chamberlain to replace Sutcliffe and Scott makes sense.
Although Seizer has missed a few ganes, the last 3 seasons he has played 55 games, whilst Trueman has played 44.
Rapana has played over 20 games just about every season. Same with Asista apart from this year.
When was the last time we signed a captain and recent dream team player along with 2 players from the NRL who are first choice players.
Hopefully a new backroom team wi help this also and keep the likes of Abdul fitter, which he has shown he can do at London amd his first few seasons at Rovers, we're he was in MOS contention and playing internationally. if this is our starting lineup first game, I can't see how anyone can say it is well ahead of this seasons side and that's without any coaching impact.

We aren't winning anything or probably troubling the play offs, but just want to be more competitive a d start moving In the right direction after a year on year slide since 2017 With the exception of 2020)

Cust Holmes and Abdul don’t fit into your appearance criteria, Chamberlain 3 year deal to replace Cam Scott is madness.
Hoping the experiment of Balmforth Burrough and Cust works at hooker, having doubts about that watching us get done up the middle after Houghton went off.

That's why I mention improving the backrow m, look at Evalds, Whitbread and Taigona at Rovers, gone for low appareences to injury prone to nearly every present.
Agree on hooker, Balmforth has some work to do, but to be fair he isn't a 70 minute hooker (yet)
