Words fail me, we some how won fair enough, but is there nothing that can be done to persuade Rhyse to stick with us next season? He's the only 1 who showed up for us today, I hope Brad absolutely berates the rest of them!
Sadly, a really predictable performance. The one positive for me is that this kind of weak minded rubbish just brings the need for a wholesale injection of quality into a laser focus. Hopefully, Blease can free up the required amount of space under the cap and the board dig deep ( again) to provide Arthur with players of the drive, talent and application to banish these pretty regular embarrassments.
At the risk of repeating myself, the lack of professionalism in this group is astounding.
Every single time they have a good win, they follow it up with rubbish like that...think they've cracked it, playing a lower team, they think they just have to turn up.
They're clearly not the brightest bunch, but you would hope they would have learned by now, they love a sound bite about learning lessons every time they're sh*te, but never actually do
Really poor today and the worst performance yet under Brad. I was interested to read in the transfer rumour thread that Brad also wants to change the back line never mind just the forwards. On this performance, that would be completely justified. Fusitua for a big bloke offers no punch, Momorovski for an established NRL centre has been a let down and as for Newman he has had a shocking season. I for one thought he just needed to stay clear of injury, but now that he has done that, his performance levels are nowhere near where they should be. I thought a couple of big forwards would solve our current issues next season, but realistically it needs more than that. Hopefully Brad and Blease can have some honest conversations with some contracted players to free up the cap we really do need.

I was going to say we probably have the worse 2 centres for a top 6 club then realised we are not even in that category. Newman is by far the worse of the two and that`s saying something. Miller and Bentley the only 2 with any credit today. For all the Bentley bashing I reckon we lose that game without him. He seemed to be tackling everyone at one stage. Move him to LF and put Smith as a meandering prop who might have an offload in him. Next season try and get rid of Sangare, Momorovski, Newman, Goudemand, and Ackers if he doesn`t start showing some proper hooking skills, even Leeming and Dwyer look better than him. As far as leadership goes you could see the London players trying to motivate each other at the start of GP whereas we all stood there looking clueless. If I were BA I`d be asking if the ink had dried on the contract he signed and look to head back home.

Sangare was subbed around the 15 minute mark and didn't return until extra time. That may be poor even by his standards but surely we can't carry a prop doing such short stints going into next year. Bentley despite picking up an injury did far more minutes than that. One small positive, at least I have a player capable of nailing a drop goal.
Woody: Can I pour you a draft, Mr. Peterson?
Norm: A little early, isn't it Woody?
Woody: For a beer?
Norm: No, for stupid questions.
