Had my eye on this game for the last few weeks - thought it might give us the favour that we could need. Cant see Warrington losing another game. Means we can afford the one defeat.

Yeah, they'll finish on 40 points, so we need 3 wins for top 2 and all 4 for first place IMO. I know a few people have been worried about going to Craven Park in the play offs and I'd say that's unlikely to happen now.

Good point - that's the nightmare fixture that you can't see KR losing. Even if we finish 3rd now we would likely go to Warrington if we beat the 6th placed side - that still feels winnable.

He's bounced back well from that tough game against Wire but they've still not really given him that responsibility of controlling the side and it was Keighran who seemed to do the bulk of that in this past couple of games. I doubt they'll change that this week and Keighran will do one more game in the halves until Smith is back.
I mean this in a good way but I hope that is the last we see of Farrimond until 2025. That will mean Field, French and Smith have all stayed fit and available and Farrimond can rest up and walk away happy with how the year has gone, ready to come back next year with plenty of confidence.

I think we can do it but the continuity that KR have had with their spine over the last couple of months gives me a bit of an edge, particularly as we've been so disrupted. It's a big ask for French and Smith to hit top form as a partnership right off the bat.

I'm probably a bit different in that I think a challenge like going to HKR could be good for us. Things are going great for them at the minute but this run now could well do them no good when it comes to the play offs. It's all been a bit comfortable for them and there is no way they'd blow us away like they've been doing with teams recently. I'd back out experience/quality to see them off anywhere in a big game.
I think we'll see a really motivated Wigan side over the next few weeks. I'm seeing very little talk in the media about Wigan, with pundits going for Wire v HKR as a final in the main. I think Peet will feed off that and use it to fire the players up.
Hull KR and Warrington will be extremely nervous hosting a playoff game.
I can already see HKR over celebrating the LLS, Champagne spraying the lot. Whilst it’s a great achievement for a club of that size it’s never really worked out for teams who do that (Wire, Huddersfield come to mind).
Whoever goes to craven park will have won the week before and be playing with little pressure, all the pressure will be on KR.
I do think back to the CC final, we accomplished it all. All 4 in the bag and a 20 year old lad in Junior said “We’re not done, we want more” just minutes after a final.
Hopefully tomororw is the start of us going up the gears.
RICHARDS IS SUPERMAN!!!!

Presuming we win tomorrow, the litmus test for HKR is next week at Wigan. Following that, they go to Leigh which will be a very difficult game.
