I'd release Lehmann, I think defensively he is an absolute liability. If Fulton and Davies could sign on that would be huge! Davies for his versatility value and imagine a back row of Gee, Fulton and Donaldson! Now that would be solid.

Im consigned to Fulton going anyway, if it's true that Wigan wants him, I don't think any offer would deter any championship player from that. Lehmann has not shown me anything to make me think he's worth a new deal. He has been found out way too many times in defence and has cost us in crucial games. Those 3 tries from Ince against Widnes were identical, because he kept rushing out of the line and I think everyone saw Fev's second try where he did the same thing, Hardcastle would never score an easier try in his career.

Will Wigan sign Lehmann too? I doubt it. Fulton will go wherever he thinks is best for him. Having a mate in the same team will be sacrificed.

We shouldn't get dictated to in this respect unless it's circumstances out of the ordinary like in the 80s when Wakey signed Wally Lewis and took his brother on as well.

I'd still sign Lehmann. Yes he's some issues defensively but don't think it helps one minute he's been on the wing, the next centre and usually with a different partner. Also playing right wing one match and then left centre the next doesn't help. Worth a 1 year deal for me.

Do you really think Fulton would say no to a Super League team if they didn't sign Lehmann? Come off it. He stated before he even played a game that he wants to play Super League.

Okunbor, Gill, Myers and Taufua (if we give him another contract) would personally be my preference. The excuse of playing centre/wing on different sides is a reason for his poor defensive reads.

I agree with you. He won't say no to Wigan. I also think we need to be firm when it comes to signings - I'm happy to have someone's bezzie mate provided they're up to the job.

On Lehmann he doesn't offer enough in attack for me. In defence the shooting out of the line can be fixed I'm sure. It's either all up up or none up.

If Fulton says he will stay on the proviso Lehmann stays, I am all for it. Like I said in an earlier post, a backline of Gee, Fulton and Donaldson would be amazing with Appo and Davies coming of the bench is quality. However, if Fulton goes where does it leave Lehmann and if they leave, that's 2 quota spots we can fill.
