They haven’t. Powells interview said he’s unsure if he will play as other players have gone through the season to get to the finals.
We have been playing with no halfback though for around a month now so it is a possibility but I’d say it won’t happen unless absolutely necessary.
Regards Trueman. Not long ago he was looking like the next England halfback but sometimes players just don’t go well at some clubs and find a new lease of life at others. Happens a lot.
The one thing Trinity have is amongst the best back room fitness and physio team I’ve seen in many years. I believe we have gone big on England back room staff and a very accomplished back room. I’ve barely seen one of our players blowing this season and some of our players look the filtest and sharpest I’ve seen. I know it’s championship but bodes well and hopefully an environment we can get the best of of True man from. Trinity wouldn’t sign him if they weren’t confident he could find that form. He won’t be short of competition with Ollie Russell, Mason Lino, Lawford and a capable stand in Max Jowitt.
Will probably help with our forward pack. Our forwards are continually putting us on the front foot (something I hope transitions to SL).
