So, a Friday night game. From a rugby standpoint, this is very winnable. So much so that we may see some rotation of the squad. Who's played a lot of minutes and may get a rest? Fulton, Appo maybe? Lawrence? I think Smith and Mason may be available in the pack, also Hallas. So there could be some rotation there. Taufua misses out due to suspension.
Just need to be careful not to disrupt the squad too much, but we should have enough to deal with Dewsbury.

From the club side, I assume they're looking to see what happens with the crowd. Feedback from the stands and terraces, but also feedback from the corporate side. Will we get some more walkups on a Friday? sell more beer & food? Sell more meal tickets in the Southstand? I see the marketing team has had a bit of fun this week on social media with a Friday night game.

At least the club are trying things.

Taufua Lawrence and Sammut all out
Gaskell Hallas Scurr back in.

Sammut had a poor game for me on Sunday.

If we lose this we might as well pack-up now. Dewsbury couldn't even beat Whitehaven who had 14 men.

Get through this with no injuries. Boost our points difference then throw everything at the Sheffield game. That and the Fax game are the two more difficult games of our run on. Batley we should beat at home. Swinton will be tricky and they'll probably be fighting for their lives but we should have enough quality.

Good to see Gaskell back.

Scurr in for Lawrence.
Gaskell in for Sammut.
Franco or Smith in for Taufua.

I have a soft spot for Dewsbury and it's a real shame they haven't been competitive this year. But we need to be ruthless now against a team that concedes an average of 35, especially with so many teams on similar points.

This could be the game where we finally put a big score on somebody. We started the ball rolling against Whitehaven but then stalled against Fev and just got over the line against Doncaster.

Like you say, I feel bad for the Rams but they were turned over by a 14 man Whitehaven team last weekend at home. I can’t see anything other than a comfortable Bulls victory.

Need to concentrate on our performance and the score will look after itself. We made hard work of it in the away fixture so if we turn up with a sloppy attitude it won't be a walkover.

Can we get Gaskell through a potential 7 or 8 games? If he stays fit he will be a big boost for the side in attack.

I'd go with:

Holmes, Okunbor, Myers, Lehmann, Franco, Gaskell, Lilley, Pele, Souter, Bayliss, Davies, Appo, Doro
Subs: Scurr, D. Smith, Ott, Makin

Fulton to have the weekend off.

I'd start Ott over Souter. Think the long minutes are just catching up with him a little so an opportunity to just have a breather this week.
