The same could be said of a number of people on here, who think their opinion is important.

As much as this has been a painful season Fc are part of my life as is rugby league. Even the drama of this sad period of the clubs existence has been of interest. I’d like to think fans just don’t abandon the club because it’s struggling. . Granted money is tight so I hope AP respects all of this when he prices passes and admission. Absence of the game for few months always renews enthusiasm in February. But we just can't have another season like this

I think a sensible move would be a price freeze for anyone renewing passes or even sponsorship as it goes without saying we have not had anywhere near value for money the past couple of seasons and certainly not this season.

Whilst the club may take a slight hit in margins I think increasing prices would following this shambolic season
would certainly hit the club a lot more by tipping more fans over the edge at a time when they need to reward the fans for sticking with them be it as pass holder or corporate sponsor.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

In Dans article today he states that Trueman will not be here next season so whilst not official, it pretty much confirms what we have all thought/known for long enough that Trueman is on his way to pastures new.

Where is this? I've read the one about us possibly looking at Queensland or NSW cup for a half back. Slightly underwhelming I think and clearly not what we've been promised.

Going from Lam to that is madness!

Lam was a NSW cup half before he came over here. Most of his first grade games for the Roosters were off the bench.

Clifford is/was seen as a back up half too

It depends on what they mean, there are players like Lam and Cliffird who are signed to NRL teams but often play in the Znsw and Queensland cup or there are players like Stewert and Rimbu who just play in that competition.

All the talk has been of a marquee half, if we lose our current marquee (I know Trueman hasn't performed) non quota halfback ti sign an unknown, I'll feel let down by the club.

We desperately need a quality half back. We need someone of the quality and experience of Lam or Clifford or someone who has played a reasonable amount of first grade NRL.

Signing a Queensland or NSW cup player who has no or very little NRL experience doesn't cut it. If the half back is from these reserve competitions that is a poor statement of intent. I'd much rather keep Trueman with a full pre-season behind him.

That's exactly my point! Really really don't understand why we wouldn't make a statement signing. People will say they arnt available, however we need to approach and even pay a fee for someone

Genuinely think we'll end up with Drinkwater.
