Musgrove has played in 18 of Warrington’s 21 games in Super League this season: and the former Samoa international has played longer minutes in recent weeks than what we’re used to seeing from him in a primrose and blue jersey thus far.
“I think he’s been great,” Burgess said of Musgrove.
“I’ve been trying to get him a few more minutes, I wanted to see him in that zone of fatigue and see how he managed it but he’s been great.
“I think he’s played a lot for us, I think he’s only missed four or five games so he’s been pretty consistent for us.”

Team selection for next week, will be giving Burgess some food for thought. Would you rotate the middles, freshen up the pack. With Vaughan having a week off maybe. It’s now becoming to a point in the season where you’d want everyone fit and in form, that includes the fringe players.

Normally I would say yes but with it looking like points difference coming in to it I’d go strong. Only change I’m thinking of is Dufty he was still limping at the end of the game. Rather him fitter for Leigh
We definitely need to find a rest for Dufty, it would be a disaster for him to be burned out and get injured before the playoffs. Thewlis or Taylor-Wray are more than worthy cover options at FB.

Should be giving thewlis the option to play dufty style with williams, be better to give him some reps now than be forced into it mid game following an injury

These are some stats from his last 6 matches. So he averaged 23mins per match. I'm not sure how that is him getting more minutes. He played 40mins in the London match but looks like he took it easy to allow himself to be on for that long, seeing as he only took 8 carries in.

Leeds - 14mins 11 carries 63 metres 14 tackles
London - 40mins 8 carries 74 metres 20 tackles
Hull KR - 14mins 3 carries 22 metres 13 tackles
Wigan - 22mins 9 carries 62 metres 10 tackles
Saints - 20mins 5 carries 24 metres 13 tackles
Leeds - 32mins 8 carries 72 metres 15 tackles
Out of interest where do you find the minutes per game? Superleague site doesn't show that right?
He's our 4th best prop IMO, Vaughan, Harrison & Yates are all more than capable of being 50 - 60 minute props, so his game time will be limited given we only have 2* 80 minutes worth of prop time in a game. He's dong the job that's being asked of him - and Burgess seems pretty happy with him.
I was probably expecting a little more from him to be honest, but he's still ahead of Philbin and Wood for me in the pecking order, but they are on his heels.

I watch every game and for some reason when people have been subbed and come on usually sticks in my head. So i just quickly scanned the games to make sure my timings were about right and corrected where needs be. As you say, the superleague site doesn't show it. Sometimes it doesn't even show a sub on the events section which is pretty poor but about what you'd expect from RL.
I'd defiantly have Wood ahead of Musgrove. Philbin is a tougher decision. I'd compare Max Woods stats but again RL shows it's amateur make up because his name doesn't appear on the player stats page for the matches he played in. He doesn't even have a profile on our team page on the site even though he's been a first team player since mid last season.
