Attitude, effort and work rate are all great things, but if you’re not having a significant impact on the game you’re not worth the a place in the team.
At 28, Fash will be in his peak years as a prop. He had a full pre season as far as I’m aware.
Our lack of creativity is the biggest problem at the minute, along with leadership. Sao and Fash are not the ‘leaders’ we need. Closer to liabilities than leaders.
From what i've seen of Daejarn Asi he does seem to play a similar style to Lam, a quick strong runner with a decent passing and kicking game also. What also stood out was his defence, he could put a shot on when needed.
He may not be at Lams level currently, but he at least fits the mould of the type of half we need.

Unless we can get someone like Hastings, Asi is about as good as we will get from the NRL, looks to have a good ll around in the highlights I've seen (I know).
Not sure about Milford, feel he could be another Reynolds, Cartwright will know all about him.
