Lot of talk about the nrl coming on board and taking control of the super league. its got me thinking looking at there past strategies as in expansion, merging teams etc.
Am I right to be concerned they may look towards us and rovers and think they only needs to be one hull team and bring another franchise in expansion area to try and grow the sport.

I know it's years down the line but should we be looking over out shoulder, if things don't turn around at our club I know what the most attractive proposition is in hull at the moment.

I know they have multiple teams playing in Sydney you can't compare the size of hull to sydney. Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on this

Not sure they would do that. Fans wouldn't allow it. I certainly wouldn't be happy.

It's a huge money spinner for the city which draws a huge crowd.

We ideally need both clubs to be successful and that would bring huge crowds.

Imagine an FC. Vs Kr CC or GF? Be huge!

The game is falling so far behind , at a rate of knots.
Everything sport is being crushed by the Premier League juggernaut in terms of TV deals and sponsorship. Womens Super League football will get the attention and money we can only dream about.

As said above, hard to see how it gets any worse.

Even if they improved small things such as the discipline process, use the bunker and not playing games at the same time would improve the game.

I think the Aussies are more likely to look at Hull and Rovers both averaging 10K plus in the past couple of seasons and think why not have one side that plays in front of 20K each game, share the talent pool etc. We know that wouldn’t work but that how they’ll think.
