Yes, this. And it's not like he hasn't got a bit of footwork, he has. But I seem to remember one occasion in particular when he received the ball, and seemed to just freeze, and I was thinking, head for the line!
It feels like Havard is still pulling all parts of his game together but he'll get there and even in his current state, he's one of the best props in the league. His defence has come on leaps and bounds and he always makes ground with the ball. He should be looking at Chris Hill IMO as an inspiration for how he can develop and the level he can reach because he is very similar in terms of footwork. Hill really came in to his own from mid 20's onwards and has had a long career at the top and when he stepped up to international level, he just looks made for it and has never looked out of place against the Kiwi's, Aussies etc.

On Hill it’s interesting to hear about his highly the Aussie props he played against for England rate him.
Listen to plenty of podcasts and when asked out English opponents he generally is first mentioned not the lads who went to the NRL.
I’m quite happy with how Havard is progressing personally. It’s a really tough one because I want him to be off the NRL radar for as long as possible (even though I know he is on it). He’s going well, very well but there are things to work on. I think if he has a spectacular season we would find it very hard to retain him.
Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.

As long as he doesn't replicate Hill's week long efforts to get off the tackled player - always been annoying. But in other aspects a fair comparison, just think Havard needs to a bit more direct sometimes - he hesitates and shimmies a bit too much before going forward.

Must be a wind up or you have limited rugby knowledge.
Havard knocks out 100m plus per week on a regular basis, even when he doesn't play the full 80.
Not every forward has to run it in 100mph like Fielden or Peacock or Thompson.
He is improving year on year, put some size on, improving in defence and is still young for a prop. Not sure what more you can want at this stage.
