I wouldn’t be interested in Hardaker now, his time has gone. I get that people are not happy with our Centres, neither have covered themselves in glory this year, and in Newman’s case he’s not lived up to his promise so far. He’s coming into his last year of contract (I think) and if he doesn’t have a big 2025, I can see Leeds letting him go and bringing one of the kids through. We’ve got some very good talent coming through in the Centre and they will need to have a go sometime.
It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

I'm probably in the minority, but I think Newman is heading in the right direction. He's on track to play over 20 games this year, without serious injury, and whilst he's not doing anything flash at present he's carrying the ball really well. Like the rest of the three quarters he'd look a lot better behind a competitive pack, which I hope will be rectified next year. I think he'll suprise a few in 2025.

I've been critical of Newman but there have been signs under Arthur (esp. last two games) that he's getting his performances right again.
I guess my beef with him is that as one of our feted superstars he's not injecting himself into games in a positive way as much as we know he has been capable of in the past (remember the game when he monstered French and Field, and was getting accused of being greedy with scoring?). Right now he's being outshone by the likes of Miller and Croft, and (?slower) Momirovski looks like being the more capable finisher/creator out wide.

I'm hoping he'll become a less flashy but more effective player under Arthur's coaching. Arthur has told Miller he wastes energy, and the same could be said of previous incarnations of Harry. If he focuses on doing the simple things well and not trying to beat six players every time he touches the ball he could yet be a huge asset to us.

I agree. Even in the short amount of time Arthur has had, you can see his impact on certain players. Particularly Miller, Newman and Bentley. They all look better for it.

I'm not convinced by Newman long-term. He's not really quick, he isn't powerful or explosive in contact, and he doesn't create space for his winger. Other than a left foot step back on the inside, there's nothing much to his game.

Agree with all above, Mom and Newman have looked far more effective the last few games. Both in yardage and in Moms case creating a bit of space. We have been less flashy as a whole but more effective under Arthur.
If you look at his parra teams, they were built around big dominant packs, no doubt that’s where his focus will be, and I think we’ve already seen him get a bit more out of some previously underperforming pack members.

One of our centres is the incumbent England Centre.
That may be the case wrt Newman Chris. But if he was at another club and became available I would hope we wouldn`t be throwing marque money at him that`s for sure. He actually played well for England last time but has done nothing for us this year.

With regards to Harry. When I watched him playing in the academy at Leeds and also playing for England v the Aussie schoolboys, I thought at the time that we'd got a once in a generation type player at the club,Perhaps we still have, But that his injuries have hampered his progression?
But at present Harry isn't anywhere close to being as good as prime Senior or Watkins were at a similar age IMO and he's not even a stand out player in SL (Although he played for England during the last series)
Harry needs to full fill his undoubted potential at the club during his current contract otherwise i'm not sure that the club will re sign him on his alleged big salary
You can add Tommy the Tank into this too as he's never fit for selection, despite being the best academy prop in the country at the same time that Harry was the best centre
With respect to the time, effort and also the financial remuneration that the club have given them both. Let's hope that we get the rewards of their undoubted talents rather than another SL club when their current contracts run out and they both go on to be sensational talents elsewhere
