just watching magic Broncos v Hull (who look as inept and disorganised team as I have seen at this kevel in a while) Rourke looks a decent prospect, if a little raw... Tbh he looks more like a three quarter to me... big fast and raw boned

Stunned how many ex trinity players are out there
I agree, he has all the attributes to make a great centre. Even though he is also a good full back
Having watched Rourke admittedly on tv he looks just what we need, he’s scored 7 in 7 playing for worst team in super league, good under high ball , a decent bit of size and pace be a great signing for us. We still only have a an announced signed squad of about 19 (if you exclude booth lawford smith ) even adding in Rourke parcell truman plus possibly extending couple existing players we still would only have a squad of about 26 , given what has happened to us over last few years with typically 7-8 of our starting 17 injured for most of season we can’t get enough cover

I agree but there is a lot of versatility in that 19, nearly all can play two positions well. I think Powell has stated that he is looking mainly for multi talents players to help fill inevitable gaps. Used to work for Kear. I accept we need a few specialists, but in the modern game it’s the way to go. I expect a squad of around 28 but with few decent lads on reserve deals.
