Your line speed was incredibly impressive and I actually thought you controlled the ruck for the most part up until the sin bin.
Hopefully you can keep hold of Arthur, you look a different team with him at the reins. If hes there next season I expect you to be right up around the top again.

Congratulations (genuine) to Warrington deserved Winners, they look old Trafford bound. A plus factor they have appeared to have an acquired 13 referees into the team. Excellent first half for us superb defensive line speed, unlucky to be behind at half time. Unfortunately we ran out of energy in the second half, not helped by the ridiculous so called penalty try incident. Reluctant to criticise the team for a courageous performance, sadly the usual faults on display. Frawley not good enough at this level, Newman drifts in and out of the game. Sinfield not ready at the moment, Warrington mid field Runners far too quick for us. Missed Croft badly, lack of cutting edge in the three quarters. Never got a fair crack of the whip from the referee, rightfully called out by BA after the match. We are improving from Rohan smith’s tenure, however until we get rid of the deadwood it’s going to be a battle. Would love to see us sign a couple of serious forwards and have BA have a good pre season work out with the squad.

I was worried when they came on as interchange props, but I think they held their own against Wires interchange props.
Even though Sangare didn't get many minutes, I thought he was running with much more aggression than he did under Smith, same can be said for a couple of other players too.
Mom had his best game for us, and I hope he can keep on improving week on week.
Our attack really struggled without Croft, let's hope he's back for the next game.

Sangare is never going to be my idea of a first seventeen prop, but I have to say both he and Lisone have improved dramatically over the last couple of weeks. It's going to be fascinating to see who we try and recruit at prop, and whether Arthur (assuming he stays) can use his reputation to help Blease bring in some real quality.
Sky made it sound as if Josh Warrington was a massive Rhino fan when he said in the so called interview that he had only been to Headingley twice and he was a United fan. Then we had the squaring up with Brian Carney on top of that we have JW miked up. Let's hear what Josh has to say. And what do we get ? Absolutely nothing and that happend three times. It's no wonder our sport is not taken seriously. It was cringe worthy. Might as well have had Mel B or Angela Griffin . They would probably know more about the game than JW.

I thought the first half was a really high quality game. Exactly what RL is about. Tense, big hits, aggressive. Thought our pack played well above their weight and took it to wire, and had lots of the momentum in that middle period. Thought O’Connor was unreal when he came on. His engine, aggression and physicality were ridiculous.
We all know this team is two props short of a really decent side, and losing our two starters to injury massively compounds that issue. But all in all, we’ve got fight under Arthur that we didn’t have before. I can take a loss like that way more than when we had no bottle and no idea what the team were trying to do. Score line flattered wire a bit with that first half score, but overall think we were in that game for much of it.

I was sat behind the Leeds bench for the game. The size of our interchanges compared to Wigans was remarkable. Probably not news to anyone, but really brought it home to me how undersized we really are.
Our attack really struggled all game, and whilst we were in the battle we never really looked like scoring. Our best attack spell came when Smith went off again. I like CS and he seems a decent guy, but he mutes our attack so much that he wouldn’t make my team.
As others have said, Sinfield needs a loan to the championship for a season. I’m yet to see anything that makes me think he’ll make it at the top level but I hope to be proved wrong.
On a final note, Elland road is a terrible stadium for hosting events. Uncomfortable, cramped seating with really poor facilities. The atmosphere is good at a United match but is a real step back for magic.
