Well played there Leeds - scoreline was in no way a reflection of how close that was. Thought the unjustified yellow turned the game really to our advantage. Your line speed was incredibly impressive and I actually thought you controlled the ruck for the most part up until the sin bin.

Hopefully you can keep hold of Arthur, you look a different team with him at the reins. If hes there next season I expect you to be right up around the top again.

The refs are working under impossible guidelines from the RFL. They are being told to card players for sneezing at the opposition. Don’t look to the RFL for answer's, as they are the root of the issue. The game in this country is almost unwatchable imho……

Location: Wakefield but near to Leeds!
Think we should also give credit to Warringtons defence in that first half when we threw a lot at them but we didn`t have that cutting edge to break them down.
Definitely looked a knock on by them before the Fusitua sin bin that was never a sin binning and cost us 10 points.
Even without that I didn`t think we had the guile to score against Wires defence.
I hope we don`t let O`Connor go and again not sure why Bentley is getting stick as he made a bucket load of tackles tonight.

We look so much better with OConnor at 13.

I don't know where Cameron Smith fits into this team.

Thought there were some real positives in among that performance, still got too many dumb mistakes in us, but getting better, defensivley its night and day different, its enjoyable watching us defend now.

Big concern is newman, he looks like an absolute plodder

Depends which game. I expect to lose against the better teams, and most of the time show little flair in attacking positions. I expect to have a mixed bag against the average teams, and beat the really poor one’s anchored at the bottom of the table. That is based on our current squad and managers over this season . If you had asked me at the start of the season my expectations would have been a lot higher. The important context in my quote you referenced was I replied to posters that seemed happy to be losing games narrowly, or happy to lose and have some perceived plus points to take from a game. All a bit defeatist and overly optimistic for my liking. Have I been disappointed a lot this season ? The short and obvious answer is yes, what were you really expecting ? Was I disappointed tonight ? again yes. Only one of the Arthur Clues “ building for the future” crew would have been happy or taken many positives from tonight. He probably bought a bottle of Dom Perignon on the way home to celebrate being beaten by less than 20 points. Others will flip flop and say Momorovski had a decent game and ignore Frawley being back to terrible again. That shows what a low bar some people set regarding us as a club and what we should be expecting and accepting. I would say the negatives outweighed the positives again tonight, the only defence could be the ref was poor for us and once again showed the two tier refereeing system at it’s best. Many will be happy to ignore the fact we played against 12 and a half men for most of the game and failed to take advantage. The half of a man managed to score a hat trick on one leg as well. Overall, lots to build on for the Arthur Clues Crew and not much else for the realists.

Not too downhearted about that. Physically we aren't getting rolled anymore, which is huge difference even though we have next to no props. Small margins in games like that and the ref tipped it significantly in Wires direction. If Croft had played we'd have scored more points and missed less tackles. Young Jack needs to spend some time on loan at Championship level, to allow the club to make a proper judgement on his future. Thought both Mom and Newman were excellent. I have to say that Wire are a very good side. Here's hoping it's them and KR in the final.

Don’t Dom Perignon do an alcohol free ?
Hope you had a good day anyway despite the result.

Mate with respect, I didn't realise Newman was playing he seemed to be awol for most of the Match and didn't even bother chasing back on any of the wire breakaways down your left side
