Hopefully not, but that is my feeling particularly with the loss of Croft. In terms of the team, I'd have Cam at 6, to leave the pack as it was last week, keeping the excellent O'Connor at 13. Donno has to come in for Ben on the bench and Ash will play instead of Edgill if fit.

Agree on the likely result. Wire (currently) are a much stronger side that the Pies last week. I don't expect us to win, but I will be very encouraged if we compete for the 80 mins. Do that and anything is possible.

Results almost irrelevant, little chance of plays offs, performance is key we need to back up last week and be there abouts ( i hope we do win) think we have gifted Warrington 2 easy wins thus season and flattered them, hopefully win or lose we take it to them.

Little chance of playoffs ? We win tomorrow and Cats lose we have a great chance of making the six. Cats at home next week a win we go to play off spot ?

Lots of Ifs there, its not unachievable to make the play offs but we probably can only afford to lose one more game.

I still can’t believe that some Leeds fans are happy to “compete” or “put in a performance” when we need to win a game for a measly 6th place play off spot. Can you imagine the same rhetoric in February after signing 3 players from the NRL, the Superleague Man Of Steel and pinching a top hooker from another club ? Everybody’s different, but I think some Leeds fans have become conditioned to accepting not even second best but the possibility of better times in the future. How the mighty have fallen.

I don’t honk we are necessarily happy with it, but it is where we are at right now so it’s realistic. Of course we will have a completely different view at the start of a season, and next season it will be with good reason if BA is still here and has had input into signings and a preseason with the group. We are reaping the rewards of a long list of poor management decisions over a lot of years. That’s not something to be happy about.

It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

It's a sensible and pragmatic approach to adjust very short term expectations to match the reality of a situation. Demonstrating progress comes in different forms. Does that mean a lack of ambition or lower medium to longer term expectations. Of course it doesn't. Having said all of that, I'm sure all concerned are acutely aware that the constant promises of jam tomorrow are wearing thinner by the week.

There's a difference between giving an objective assessment on the likely result of a game, and being " conditioned to accepting not even second best". There's nothing mighty (and never has been) about being a fan. The clubs success/failure is not ours. I'll be going to the game in the hope that we maintain or improve last week's encouraging performance, win or lose, and that in turn we can build momentum for the rest of the season and more importantly next year. If you want to rant and rave about how terrible it all is I guess thats your perogative, but I think it's waste of your energy.

People are not allowed to have a POV on this forum only the special know it alls. He's quite right in my opinion any player worth their salt won't go on the field thinking they will lose.

Are you one of those? It seems to me that people who like to complain about not been allowed to have a POV, tend to be the ones who express their own most freely and repetitvely. Who said anything about players going on to the field expecting to lose? By the way, what's your view on Walters progress at Wigan? I recall you had some very forthright opinions on his departure.
