On the logic of signing players from lower SL I don't get. All the clubs in top half do this and no one says anything, it's like saying to Catalan "don't sign Tom J as he only plays for Wakey". Or Alex Whalmsley only plays for Batley
Don’t know what alegend is expecting, Nathan Cleary and Sam Walker in one window?
Keeps going on about Trueman and Russel not getting us in top eight, well this might come a bit of a shock to you alegend, but Rome wasn’t built in a day! We aren’t going to be an instant top eight club even though that would be nice.

Well the target is very much to be top 6 in the return season. I’m pretty sure Ellis has gone on record as such. I’m pretty sure he won’t write off being a top 6 playoffs never mind top 8.
Spending full cap and marquee x2 if certainly be disappointed if we didn’t at least challenge for playoffs in our return year.

Just looked to me like panic buying in the most important position on the park 7 month before S L starts if we are in
I don't think you see the point alegend. To me looks as we are building a team of good age with still a lot to prove I.e hall , Russell,Trueman and possibly best years to come. Along with a couple of elder proven player's I e mcmekenn. Rugby is a team game, give me a well drilled team anyday

Does not matter how well drilled your team is ,if your spine is not up to it you will struggle ,As said been the main problem at Wakefield for the last 3 year
I think if you take your mind back 18 months ago and think if we had been in the market for the player we are now would we turn our nose up at Olly Russell and Trueman? Or bringing in two Marquees?
The plan is a 4 year plan not a 2 year one. I guess next years target is aim for playoff, year after play offs and year 4 silverware. We need to build with players who are available year on year to build a squad, you can't just get it or you will just do what Salford did. Or look a Leigh rose fast and seem possibly to be crashing and burning.
HKR took a pragmatic slow approach to building and it's taken the a few year to look like challengers so just trust the process and enjoy the ride.

You need to look forward not back The club is and sure 99% of supporters are too. These are super league players and as someone pointed out you build a team ie hull kr.. Best teams not necessarily have the best players I for one think we are making some shrewd signings and not finished yet I believe. So enjoy this season as I think next will be interesting too.
