He's a good player but unsure where he'll fit in, I'd rather see Balmforth getting minutes off the bench. Unless Cust is down as our starting 9 with Balmforth or Borough off the bench
Agree on Cartwright if he can stay fit he will be a good signing, was highly rated at Souths.
Just don't get Cust, could have kept Reynolds and signed another quota forward.

So far Asiita is a a top signings, not sure about Cartwright and Cust is a waste (IMO).
last two have to be top SL level signings.
Cust is baffling. He's a part-time hooker or halfback cover. We needed a specialist hooker.
The totality of our recruitment depends on the remaining quota signings. Probably need another non quota quality forward as well. May have to pay a transfer fee.
Pessimistic but I cannot see any significant improvement unless we get it right.

We will definitely improve next season, the next two quota spots will determine by how much.

I agree we will have a better squad but so will other clubs. This season we are competing with London to avoid bottom. Wakefield will replace London and will be far stronger. You are right next season we should improve both on and off the pitch but in terms of league position are we likely to improve much on 11th with the squad we have have assembled so far and even with a couple of stand out signings we desperately need.

Agree on Wakefield but don't think they will be as good as some think, there spine is very average.
Could easily finish above Cas, Hudds and Leeds, none seem stronger yet.

Hudds and Leeds have better squads than us already and with new coaches in place, can see them both doing better next year. Not sure about Cas, I imagine it will be difficult for them to recruit for next season with the uncertainty about whether they'll be in SL or not

Neither have new coaches for next season, which has to be a worry.

Hudds and Leeds still have plenty of holes in their squads. Both will be close if not at full cap too so don't have much wiggle room to improve.
Don't see why we shouldn't be aiming for top 6 with a few more shrewd pieces of recruitment.

To be fair I'm not sure come next season they will be any better than we are roster wise, Leeds especially. Not sure where Huddersfield go from here either after all the money Davy has thrown at it that Watson seems to have burned through with very poor results.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
