IF this is/was a ploy to get more money, are we then saying that if he stays at Leigh, they've offered him more then the (alleged) £300k we have offered him, esp if the offer him a 3 year deal like we have (apparently)?

Well we all knew it so I don't feel any real sense of disappointment and we can finally move on. In reality the club probably knew a while back. Lets hope we are closing in on someone of similar or better quality because we definitely need a boost. The standard of the half we sign is going to shape where we are as a club and what the expectations are going to be next season.

Leigh won't have matched Hull's salary offer. But I suspect Leigh will be more willing to have an NRL clause in should he get an offer for 2026 and beyond.
