The problems are down to poor recruitment, lack of discipline and skimping on S&C and physio staff. It won't change while we sign players like cust and abdul who are regularly injured or simply lack the discipline to be a top class sportsman.
It's crucial that we recruit experienced S&C people for next year and get things right from the start of pre season

A new head physio coming in and hopefully some quality strength and conditioning coaches too. As others have said, it's imperative the club gets this part right after the last few disastrous seasons.

My experience of forums is whilst it’s their prerogative fans are unbelievably critical when not knowing many of the facts. I can’t believe this doesn’t impact on the players. However it’s human nature and being at Wakefield will be no different. Thankfully there is less drama surrounding Trueman and he’ll be back. All this seasons experIences will be for the benefit of the club in years to come

Poor comments by Scott, happens at every clubs, but obviously more so when clubs are struggling, some fans go over the top, but they shouldn't be on social media if they let comments from fans get to them.
Weird comments by Grix though, saying Trueman had a different injury and will be out for the season.
I think cam Scott has turned into a bit of a baby in recent times. Took to social media to comment about what people were saying about his 'salary' and reason for going to Wakey and now this...he sounds very disgruntled,.some very unprofessional posts. They sort of came out of nowhere, as I don't remember him making any others comments previous to all these .
Strange how Grix saying he is done for the season and Truman saying he isn't ....
We've been living in the social media age for what 15 years now, so the players know the score when deciding to have a career in the public eye.
Yes there are boundaries such as contacting them directly, shouting at them in the street etc but criticism comes with the job, its not different to say a music act releasing a poor quality song or album and getting bad reviews.
On salaries there will always be speculation particularly in a salary cap sport where budget management is key. Footballers even get their wages broken down by day, hour and minute by the media as theres huge sums involved and it generates comments.
Also branding an entire fan base toxic over some social media comments seems harsh when the Internet is not exactly not known as a bastion of moderation and reasoned debate.

Indeed, worth pointing out there were still some clapping the team off the field on Saturday despite another heavy defeat (I went for the leave silently right on the hooter approach) its not like all 10k are insulting them
