Not sure on your point. It was perfectly fair and reasonable to say give him a chance to get match fit when he returned but nobody is still saying that.

if you go back a few weeks when fans were starting to realise how average Trueman actually is several were still saying give him a chance to recover from his injury.
You cant keep playing the injury card even though i agree its taken away what bit of pace that he had at Cas.
Like it or not he has been a dud signing for the club and a very expensive dud signing.
Clifford made him look better when he played because most of the play, kicking and line breaks were down to Clifford so the focus was not onTrueman as it is now.
Its unlikely that Lam will sign but my opinion is the club should make an effort to move Trueman on,and if the rumour of signing for Wakefield is true than thats a good move by the club who recognise we can do a lot better at halfback than Trueman

But is anyone still saying to give Trueman a chance after his injury? I don't think so.

You have this odd bee in your bonnet lately about people giving players a chance. Isn't that normal with new signings? They might turn out to be duds like Pele and Okunbor but at least see them play a few times first. Would you expect to be given a chance in a new job?

Agree. Clifford was playing in a poor team but he took responsibility and made things happen, Sometimes it didn't pay off but he was prepared to have a go. Trueman last season eased himself back after a horrendous injury which is understandable. This season we have been just as bad but he hasn't imposed himself enough when needed. He drifts through games when more urgency and direction is needed. Ben Reynolds doesn't have the ability of Trueman but in the short time he was here was more effective. I wouldn't write him off because I think he's a good player but he should be doing a lot more especially if he's a marquee player. A move to Wakefield would by best for him and the club.

Whether the rumours are true or not about trueman going to Wakey, I'd be looking at moving him on now.
Another 7 plus weeks out injured, after the other long lay offs. He must give biscuit bones (Adam dykes) a run for his money

To fair to Hodgson, he's hardly been the only person working at the club in the past six or so years to have pulled out a 'masterstroke!' Think he can join a long queue in that regard! But, yep, we can lay this one at his door I guess.

So many people making so many mistakes over so many years. No wonder we are in the mess we are in right now with a long haul ahead of us before we are back on an even keel, let alone sailing the seven seas!!

I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

Money doesn't talk it swears, Obscenity who really cares, Propaganda all is phony.

I'm the son and heir of a shyness which is criminally vulgar.

Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way.

We'll be back.
Like I said after the end of Radders reign, it might take us another 20 years.......but, we'll be back.
