A wins a win, and that is what we got, with a patched up team. Players playing out of position, more hookers on the pitch than props and half backs. When I saw the team I did think we was going to give the rams the run around at the tackle, using all the hookers at different stages of play. Liam Hood playing at half back was kept out of the middle where he normally causes most damage and it may show in his tackling stats even though he did a good job along side to Max. Maybe todays game came at the right time for us, knowing that we could rest some players but at the same time put out enough quality to see off the opposition. Roll on Friday.

According to the Dewsbury forum they rarely announce attendances.
Lots of positional changes leading to different plays, at least the coaches got a look at some other combinations. The team did what it had to do not pretty for parts but Dewsbury other than when they went in for a try never really threatened to get in the game, that said they gave it a go and caused us a few headaches (no pun intended). Some young lads got long minutes, Booth and Smith and Linguard got a stint that he took well and didn't look out of place. Comfortable after 80 minutes but as Powell said clunky.

it's an IMG thing for SL clubs, I watch most games on the telly and the crowds are looking really low. However they are not going to give out true attendances , they will just put figures down to keep their averages above the 7500 Mark.

There's no point a team doing that. The numbers are audited anyway according to the RFL update on the criteria. And if you fudge the numbers, you'll get caught out when you have to put a big difference in.
I'm not sure anyone is close above or below the 7500 mark to need to cheat.

This weekend is the first time I’ve known Cas not to publish their home game attendance.
