The state we’re in the first thing I would / was expecting is for the club to at least try and do something as do to nothing would be like hoisting the surrender flag a bit higher and at least they have done that.
How or why Ruan came into and fits with our current situation never entered my head.
I respect your assessment of the lad with 3 years of experience to base it on and did wonder why a current rival would release a player to us as we enter the business end of the season but will see how he goes before forming an opinion obviously get behind him if and when he pulls a Fax shirt on.
At least being a local lad we might get a few more of family and friends through the gate.

Didn’t see all the game last night but he looked to be driving it with some power from what I did see.
Purely from last night's game I'd be delighted if he ended with us next year. Everytime weve signed a real blockbusting forward over last few years they always seem to have been dropped then shifted on, often after very short stay. Unlikey hed do massive minutes at his age particuarly when switching to part time but looked just the sort of forward the fans would love to have at the club

Its the old as age problem, do you keep players at expense of culture or do you try and find a happy medium. We went with culture and found ourselves in a sticky spot with a powder puff pack that all "work hard". As we found though working hard simply is not enough on its own at this level. I hate to single players out but when you see McComb, who obviously gives 100% every time he is on the field for us, lining up at loose forward and you take a look at some of the players we have moved on, then its not really hard to see why we are in the trouble we are in.

Kieran Hudson incoming from Leeds according to Gledhill, from memory did he play in the preseason friendly at Bradford and went well before knocking himself out trying to put a big hit on Doro and getting it wrong.

Yes and would explain why he was on the original 21 man teamsheet earlier..

Release a prop and a couple of days later bring a half in on loan when we already have 3 and trying to accommodate them when there all fit beggars the spine up.
Anybody got any idea what’s going on these days because I certainly haven’t.
The only thing i can think of is maybe have a look at him for the rest of this year with the view to bring him back on loan next year if he impresses

To be honest i do not expect him to be the best in defense or play long minutes and have a high work rate. What i do expect is for him to carry with some punch and give us better go forward then our current middles. And for those reasons he is worth signing.

Whenever we are linked with players or have signed them i always look on that player's club forum to get a fan's view of the player. Looking on't shudds site, they certainly aren't happy to see him go. We'll see, and if he's as they say, well that'll do me. Three Pigeons, White Rat 4.0% Mmm!
