It’s a simple message but takes half an hour.

The guy who did recruitment has done a runner, as he overspent so much I'm making it look like we deliberately increased our player budget. The Board has vexed off so many people that they won’t put any further money into the club, a lot of our “new” financial supporters have gone bust (despite being “quality” companies.)

We could buy the shay, Town DON’T want it, but only with a commercial partner who will build an hotel/houses and make a lot of brass. We have lots of good things ahead and we will do wonders next season.

However if there is any mug out there with any brass please come and see me. So I can buy the Shay and some players. (Marshalls must be rubbing their hands)

What a joke.

If he wants to be taken seriously put the full management accounts into the public domain.

Also they have put Director of Rugby responsibilities ontop of coaching responsibilities for Liam Finn. He is already unable to do one job now he has two to fail at.

Also talking about a pathway to Super League, at the moment the only pathway we are on is the one to Cornwall and North Wales Crusaders.

I don't normally agree with you but I did chuckle at the way the increase in budget was dressed up almost like it were a deliberate act rather than someone being in charge of it who didn't have a clue what he was doing.

Who are these sponsors that have gone bust? Isn't the shortfall more to do with promises made by certain people who have one by one decided that it were no longer for them for whatever reason? It does sound like desparate times the way they are now asking for people to join the board and I just hope the people who took over do the right thing and give up their shares to any good people that they do get coming forward to be involved.

You F:@kers on here are never happy. Moan Maon about the club, saying they do nothing to keep you dedicated fans informed because you demand to know everything.
The club put out the video and explain why or why not certain things are explained publicly . Yet this isn’t good enough for you is it? The club needs us to turn up and put our money behind them (whatever the results) to help keep us having club. I think it was good to produce the video.

What I heard.
Yes the club is facing a lot of challenges ( as are many other clubs and most of the rest of society in today’s current financial climate. )
In the short term we’re not in a position to be buying the Shay but we have had meetings / talks with FCT and CMBC on a way forward with more to follow on improving the ground to suit both clubs.
To reflect the current financial situation next years playing budget will be reduced to a lower level than this years and it will now be the coach who manages the recruitment.
Some of the founding BoD have decided to step aside are the reason for Finn taking the roll in the short term and the reason for inviting any interested parties to come onto the board and even become CEO and take over / invest is the only way to change the current financial situation.

I presume that you're not a supporter of the club - if you are God help us!
I disagree with a lot of what's written on this forum but can acept that other posters are not necessarily wrong but just have a different point of view.. Yes I think most would agree that we've not had value for money from this years recruitment- putting it in the hands of the person responsible for picking the team seems reasonably sensible. The rest of your post is such a twisting of the comments in the update as to not even be worth commenting on.

Lee Kenny’s chairman’s address was like a kid at Christmas waiting for a PlayStation , unwrapping it and it’s just a card board box with some orange peel in it.
