Will we be among them as we enter the crucial run in to the season or be going with what we have?

Seeing our predicament you would have hoped they would at least be looking and trying to, another indication if we have any money left at all.

Lannon off to Widnes early but we are looking to recruit

Was good last year but like majority of our pack has been fairly underwhelming this year. Sunday showed younger, fitter forwards can make a difference- wouldnt be suprised if we just settled on the 2 Leeds loanees.

Yes heard the rumours of some movement and with us releasing him early that we’re doing more than just looking, which we better be. :thumb:

Lannon been bang average this season at best. Just another player gone who has played a big part in our pack getting dominated week in and week out.

Said it before but Lannon is the same old story with ex SL props. Drop a league and having come out of a full time environment and they look like world beaters. but a season or so later look average at best.

In a way the opportunity of moving someone on who’s not firing on full cylinders and is going end of season anyway could help us both short to medium term if we can get someone in who wants to play and just roll their sleeves up and really get stuck in, that’s all anyone at the club wants and shouldn’t be asking too much of any player at any level.

Looks like we’re having to lose a wage to pay a wage approach but still a money better spent scenario if we can get the right one in.

Agree, Brew. Lannon was immense last season when he dropped down but has really gone off the boil. He seems to struggle to settle anyway, moving about abit and getting loaned out when he was at Salford and Hull KR. Dan Murray was another who rapidly lost it but having said that he now seems to be a constant at Widnes!

Now Keyes is going to Bradford, maybe we could get Lilley in return? Just a thought.
